The Practical Feminist blog is – maybe ironically – a result of someone trying to silence me. More ironically, it is the result (along with the podcast) of conversations I had with two men.
I shut down a previous blog and I’m taking a different approach to much of my social media activity, because (not for the first time) I received a rather ugly message that made me rethink how I am going to engage on social media.
I was going to stop blogging altogether, but a number of people have expressed to me that they feel it is important that I continue to write.
So, here I am. Continuing to write.
The Practical Feminist blog is about exploring current issues related to politics, policy, education, work, community, relationships, etc. through a feminist lens and from a practical perspective.
